Strongs Boca Chica Boca is named after the Caribbean village where our daughter got married in February 2006. Chica is Spanish for little girl. This flashy little pinto filly has some impressive horses in her pedigree. Her sire's pedigree goes back to historic Land of Little Horses, home of one of the first Falabella breeding farms in North America. Her dam's pedigree includes both La Ruina and Cincha, both imported from Argentina and sold at the Falabella Limited Collection Sale, Washington, USA, in 1988. Boca has been sold. The top photo was taken at two days old on her first venture outside; she is still whobbly on those new legs and sticking close to mom. However, the bottom photo, taken at four weeks old, her legs are strong and she is a very independent little filly now. |
